A Unity Beyond Dualities
Does anyone think that the ocean is only what appears on its surface? By observing its hue and motion the keen eye may perceive indications of that ocean’s unfathomable depth. The Lord’s mercy and compassion are an Ocean with no shore, providing endlessly varied vistas for those who sail its surface; but the greatest wonderment and fulfillment is reserved for those “creatures of the sea” for whom that mercy has become their own medium.

Ask More Of Me!
Everyone and everything is powerless in relation to Allah Almighty, and no one has any power without his Lord’s giving it to him. If the Lord Almighty gives power to servants, they may become powerful, but their original state is one of total powerlessness. If a servant declares his powerlessness in front of his Lord, it is an honour for that servant, and as a result of his humility his Lord will grant him power and support in every situation. The Prophet, Peace be Upon Him, is the first to declare his powerlessness in the Divine Presence; therefore, Allah Almighty has granted him more power than He ever gave to anyone. This is a very good lesson for mankind: if we are seeking more Divine Support and spiritual power, we should first admit our own powerlessness.

Asking And Receiving
It is not good for a Mureed to ask to the Sheikh.When we’re speaking you may find your answers through our associations. First of all you must try to be with Allah Almighty, and who is asking to be with Allah Almighty must be clean. And cleanliness begins by saying: ‘Audhu bi-llahi mina shaitani rajim ‘, because who is going to be with Shaitan is dirty; he can’t be with Allah. Allah is not accepting that person. And Shaitan is always asking to come closer to you; he likes to be with you always, so that he is not going to leave you (to be) with Allah. Shaitan is running after mankind for what? To occupy them, their hearts, so that they can’t be able to think of Allah- just occupied. This is a glass. If it is full, can’t be put another thing in it. If your heart is occupied by Shaitan- how it can be for Allah? Any room through your heart? It is impossible. Therefore Allah Almighty is ordering His servants that they must leave Shaitan, must kick him away, so that the heart of the servant is going to be ready and prepared for Allah.
